The Snowman Story

I absolutely love wandering flea markets and antique shops, searching for those forgotten little treasures that feel like they still have a story to tell. There's something special about the hunt—the dust, the history, the unexpected finds—and it's in those moments that my snowmen begin. Every piece I discover sparks an idea, and I can already see the personality waiting to come to life. 

It all starts with the bottle. Each one is carefully chosen—some rare, some simply fun—but all filled with character. I spend time searching high and low to find just the right ones, because every bottle becomes the foundation of a snowman's story.

Inside every bottle, I add sand to represent the ocean a quiet reminder to stay grounded, humble and kind. And tucked within each one is a small pearl, symbolizing the beauty that lives within all of us.

From there, each snowman is truly one of a kind, handcrafted with intention and heart. The head and nose are hand-rolled from clay, giving each piece its own unique expression. Over time, small cracks may appear, and I love that—they add to the vintage charm and authenticity of every snowman. Each face is then hand-painted, bringing personality and warmth to life. 

The details are where the magic really happens. Scarves are created from vintage fabrics, old clothing and repurposed textiles, each one adding a sense of nostalgia. The hats are made from collected trinkets—old notions, pins, spools and whatever unique pieces I come across that feel just right. Some snowmen even have hand-sewn hats (or ear muffs), carefully stitched to give them even more life and character.

I finish each piece with vintage adornments like buttons, pins and earrings—little touches from the past that make every snowman feel complete.

Every snowman carries a story—from the places I've searched to the pieces I've gathered—and no two are ever the same.
